Vision				Becoming an internationally acclaimed major in the development of economic sciences in agriculture, resources, and tropical environment which supports the achievement of community welfare and continuous development.
Mission				To perform a bachelor level higher education to turn out human resources who have superiority and competence in sustainable agricultural, resource, and environmental economics. To develop environmentally friendly and business oriented science and technology in agriculture, fishery, animal husbandry, and forestry through systematic and entrepreneurial approaches and state-of-the art researches. To give critical opinion and solutions to agricultural, resource and environment development problems in order to achieve community welfare.
Strengths				It is the first and only existing department in Indonesia with a curriculum specifically designed to study the aspects of natural resource and environmental economic management. ave an ability to create and manage agribusinesses in plant cultivation, fishery, animal husbandry, and forestry autonomously.
